Armor

Mekanism adds 6 new types of armor which are Lapis Luzili Armor, Glowstone Armor, Platinum Armor, Steel Armor, Bronze Armor, and Obsidian Armor. A full set of armor costs 24 of the needed material (4 for boots, 5 for helmets, 7 for leggings, and 8 for chestplate). Gold armor, Leather armor, Iron armor, and diamond armor were already in vanilla Minecraft.

Gold Armor

The worst armor in the game and it is possible to be killed by a creeper explosion while wearing a full set. Has an advantage over other armor though due to its ability to get better enchantments than the rest.

Leather Armor

The next-to-worst armor in the game and from a creeper explosion you will take 9 hearts of damage

Iron armor

The eighth best armor in game and from a creeper you will take 6.5 Hearts of damage. Strangely, it provides a small amount of greater protection than Lapis Luzili Armor (glitch/bug?)

Lapis Luzili Armor

The seventh best armor in game and from a creeper you will take 5 hearts of damage

Glowstone Armor

Tied at fifth best tied with platinum armor and will take 4.5 hearts of damage from a creeper, has less durability than platinum and is more expensive

Platinum Armor

Tied at fifth with Glowstone Armor and will take 4.5 hearts of damage from a creeper, is cheaper and more durable than glowstone armor

Diamond Armor

The best armor in vanilla Minecraft but in Voltz it is the fourth best and you will take 3 hearts of damage from a creeper

Steel Armor

The third best armor and you will take half a heart of damage from a creeper

Bronze Armor

The second best armor in game and you won't take any damage from creepers while wearing it

Obsidian Armor

The best armor in game and like Bronze armor you won't take any damage from creeper explosions while wearing it
