A cluster missile is a normal missile that splits into many smaller missiles while airborne, confusing radar systems. The cluster missile has the ability to (when near its target) split itself into 8 conventional missiles, and rain destruction upon enemy territory. The multiple missiles give this type of missile a significant advantage against anti-ballistic missiles and simple defense systems.
